Is Lexus LC 500 saying goodbye to PH market?
Lexus LC 500 Final gets approval from the LTO

A few days ago, reports started to come out that the Lexus LC 500's final year will be 2026. That means after this year, the sleek & sexy GT will soon be consigned to the history books. It was later confirmed by an official dealer letter in the US that the LC 500 and the LC 500 Convertible’s final year will be 2026, with production set to be wrapped up later this August.
With the US market set to get its hands on the final models of the LC, will the Philippine market also get the last units of the Lexus LC?
As luck would have it, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) recently released new Memorandum Circulars, and the Lexus LC 500 is listed. What really caught our attention was the full name of the LC 500: Lexus LC 500 5.0 V8 AT Final.

Based on the name alone, it appears the Lexus LC 500’s final year in the Philippines will also be 2026. Just like the regular LC 500, the Final model will be powered by a 4969cc or a 5.0L naturally aspirated V8 that generates 471 PS and 540 Nm of torque. It is then saddled with a 10-speed automatic gearbox that sends all power to the rear wheels.
There are no details about the LC 500 Final, but we won’t be surprised if it gets special exterior & interior features, bespoke paint options, and perhaps some key details to make it stand out from the regular LC 500s. The only question now is, can we expect Lexus Philippines to launch it soon?
